Zillow's Home Value Index — the typical home value (35th–65th percentile, all homes, smoothed and seasonally adjusted), monthly back to 2000, for Alaska statewide, both metros (Anchorage, Fairbanks — plus Juneau and Ketchikan micro areas), every covered city, and ZIP codes. The highest-frequency broad home-price measure available for Alaska (FHFA's HPI is quarterly and an index, not dollars). Headline series: Alaska statewide and Anchorage-metro ZHVI in dollars.

Known issues & gotchas

• Alaska is a non-disclosure state — sale prices are not public record. Zillow's model must lean on listings, assessments, and MLS partnerships rather than recorded deeds, so Alaska ZHVI is inherently less accurate than in disclosure states, and coverage of small/rural places is thin (this is also why Redfin has essentially no Alaska data). Present as a model estimate, not observed prices; bush Alaska is effectively absent.
• URL pattern verified 2026-08-06 (download succeeded, data through 2026-06-30): https://files.zillowstatic.com/research/public_csvs/zhvi/{Geo}_zhvi_uc_sfrcondo_tier_0.33_0.67_sm_sa_month.csv, Geo ∈ State, Metro, City, Zip (also County, Neighborhood).
